Introduction and Maintenance of Stainless Steel Garbage Can

stainless steel garbage can is a type of trash can made of stainless steel. It is commonly used as an outdoor trash can. The trash cans we often see in shopping malls, parks and squares are mostly stainless steel garbage cans. The main raw material of stainless steel garbage cans is stainless steel, which is wear-resistant, hard, and anti-corrosion. Therefore, trash cans made of stainless steel have most of the characteristics of stainless steel. The hardness of stainless steel and its corrosion resistance also greatly increase the service life of trash cans. Many people like stainless steel garbage cans.

1. Introduction to stainless steel garbage can materials

As the raw material of stainless steel garbabe cans, stainless steel is not the name of a material, it is a general term for a class of materials, and is divided into 201, 304, 316, etc., which are classified according to the content of nickel. The higher the value, the better the corrosion resistance, and of course the more expensive it is. Considering the performance and price of various stainless steels, 304 stainless steel is the best raw material for making trash cans. It has better corrosion resistance, higher hardness, and moderate price. It is the best material for mass production of trash cans.

Although stainless steel is called stainless steel, it is not non-corrosive. Many people have such a misunderstanding: why does my stainless steel trash can still rust? In fact, stainless steel only has good corrosion resistance, and it will corrode in extreme and harsh environments, especially the position after welding. If the welding process and welding materials are not good, it will be more likely to corrode. Therefore, stainless steel needs regular cleaning and maintenance.

2. Derusting method of stainless steel garbage can

(1) If rust is caused by adhesion of other metals, you can use a cloth and neutral detergent to scrub the rusty area, then clean it with clean water, and then wipe it dry with a dry cloth. Be careful not to leave the neutral detergent on the surface.

(2) In the case of air pollution beside the bustling street, rust prevention treatment must be carried out for stainless steel garbage can regularly, and soapy water should be used to clean it at all times.

(3) When cleaning workers, they may touch the trash can with their hands, so that handprints or dirt on their hands will cause rust. At this time, we can pour a little alcohol and acetone on the rag to clean it, then use the cleaning solution to clean it, and finally rinse the solution with water and dry it with a clean rag.

Rust prevention and maintenance measures should be taken to protect the stainless steel garbage cans,  and the rust should be cleaned up in time to avoid a large amount of rust spread.
